For a long time, I wanted to sponsor a child who does not really have the same social conditions as us.

This enriching experience allowed me to understand the difficulty of some people in this beautiful country of Benin but above all made me realize how lucky we Westerners are to live without lack. What I took away from this trip is by no means the lack of some but the richness of their hearts .. I got to know the association “Hirondelle of the future” through a friend, as part of a collaboration with the Owl Paris brand.
What first struck me was when I discovered that behind this great association, hide two young women who have been friends for years, both beautiful and intelligent, who have been able to unite around them people from all walks of life. for this great cause.
And then seeing the images of the actions carried out with orphans and the local community in Benin, I understood that I had to be there and in my turn and bring a small stone to the building as they say .
Since the things continue to evolve, the association widens its field: environment, promotion of information and communication… It is nice!

I have been working in the French Antilles since 2012, and for a long time I wanted to take action in favor of African countries. However, we lacked an on-site structure that could provide logistics.
After meeting Sophie and Amélie, it seemed obvious to me to set up an action together.
In a few months, the network, the structure, the dynamism and the availability of the association of the Hirondelles de l’Avenir, allowed us to launch the project. We have shipped over 200 prescription glasses for children aged 4 to 8 participating in their access to learning to read and write as the foundation of Education.
It is with great emotion that the association made us live the experience from a distance, with photos and testimonials.
